Physical Requirements

Hot air ballooning is generally not physically demanding and suitable for most participants. Please let us know in advance if you have any health concerns or if you are pregnant.

Children taller than 1.10 meters are welcome to join the flight.

Weather & Flight Safety

Hot air balloon flights in the Tatras are weather dependent. The balloon moves with the wind in both speed and direction. The pilot has full responsibility for flight safety and makes all decisions based on professional meteorological data. If weather conditions are unsuitable, your flight will be safely rescheduled to a new date.

Duration of the Experience

The flight itself lasts approximately 60 minutes. Please allow at least three hours for the full experience, including preparation, flight, landing, ceremony, and return transport.

Meeting Point & Launch Location

You will meet the balloon crew at the agreed time and location. Depending on conditions, the balloon is prepared either directly at the meeting point or after a short transfer to a suitable launch site. After landing, balloon packing, and the traditional baptism ceremony, you will be transported back to the original meeting point.

Clothing & Equipment

The temperature in the balloon basket is similar to the temperature on the ground. We recommend comfortable outdoor clothing appropriate to the season and sturdy shoes. High heels are best saved for celebrating after your balloon flight.

Ballooning Season & Best Time to Fly

Hot air balloon flights in the Tatras are available year-round. During warmer months, flights usually take place early in the morning before thermal air currents form. Evening flights are rare on hot days. In cooler seasons, daytime launches are also possible. The most breathtaking experience is an early morning sunrise balloon flight, offering calm air, golden light, and exceptional visibility of the Tatra Mountains
