How long does the entire experience take?
The flight itself usually lasts approximately 60 minutes.
In total, we recommend allowing 3 to 4 hours, which includes the time from meeting at the departure point to the final farewell at the same location.
The winter expedition flight over the High Tatras takes approximately 2–3 hours, however, due to weather and logistical conditions, you should plan for a full day.
Where will we take off?
The day before a planned morning flight, or on the day of an afternoon/evening flight, we will contact you to confirm the exact meeting time and launch location. The launch site may change depending on wind direction and wind speed, to ensure a safe and comfortable flight.
At what altitude do we fly?
We fly at various altitudes. The minimum permitted altitude is 150 meters above ground level, and the maximum is approximately 2,500 meters. However, this does not apply throughout the entire territory of the Slovak Republic.Flights over the High Tatras are conducted at altitudes of approximately 3,000 to 3,500 meters.
How do we get back to the car?
After landing, the equipment is packed and loaded, followed by a traditional baptism of new air adventurers. We then return to the meeting / take-off point in our support vehicle.
What should we wear?
The temperature during the flight is approximately the same as on the ground. Sporty or casual outdoor clothing is ideal.
We recommend closed shoes — no flip-flops or sandals!
For taller participants, we suggest wearing a cap or hat to protect against the radiant heat from the burners.
Avoid elegant or formal clothing, as the landing site may be in a field.
